EcoSeaTile products are designed to create an unmistakable, eco-friendly link with the sea. All EcoSeaTiles are made from lobster, mussel and clam shells collected from Maine waters. Shells are then cleaned, dried, and set in a resilient epoxy resin. Using large shell fragments that produce a remarkable sense of depth, these tiles create a stunning, unique look for your home or office.

EcoSeaTiles provide an elegant and unique look as field tiles, trim or accents and can be used with ceramic, glass, or stone tiles. EcoSeaTiles are durable and easy to work with. Tiles have a hardness comparable to Formica^TM and are much less brittle than ceramic or glass tiles.

EcoSeaTiles are very eco-friendly with over 50% of each tile made from recycled materials ( 50% by volume, 40% - 60% by weight depending on the type of shell). All shells used in these tiles have been collected from seafood processing plants in Maine and were previously sent to landfills. With all manufacturing occurring at its plant in southern Maine, EcoSeaTiles meet LEED standards for environmentally friendly building materials for the entire Northeast.
